Job Overview
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all site construction activities. This includes supervising trade and field personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Superintendent also manages job site logistics, maintains project documentation, and ensures proper project closeout.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret and apply project plans and specifications.
Coordinate and supervise multiple jobs of various types across different locations.
Direct subcontractors to achieve timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality project completion.
Maintain construction schedules, including daily project logs, while identifying and resolving issues.
Mentor and manage team members with a focus on time management and professional growth.
Conduct weekly foreman and safety meetings.
Order materials, schedule inspections, and ensure readiness throughout the project lifecycle.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Track production, oversee material/equipment procurement, and align resources with project schedules.
Promote and enforce job site safety practices while proactively identifying and resolving hazards.
Analyze workflows, enforce quality control, and develop site utilization and logistics plans.
Demonstrate professionalism, positive attitude, and leadership across all activities.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
Proficiency in construction and scheduling software, as well as standard Windows applications.
Ability to self-perform as needed and lead by example.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Must pass background check and drug screening per company standards.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $75,000 - $110,000 per year (based on experience and capabilities).
