Carpenter Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented carpenter to join our team to help install impact doors with a retail big box store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This role requires precision, craftsmanship, and a strong understanding of construction techniques and safety standards. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications. Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, flooring, cabinets, and drywall. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans. Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures. Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently. Ensure work is completed according to building codes and safety regulations. Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time. Essential Skills Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role. Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment. Ability to read technical documents and drawings. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Physical stamina and dexterity. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred.
