Commercial Roofing Technician

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Commercial Roofing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is a reliable and dependable individual with a high degree of integrity and pride in their work. This person will install and repair a variety of commercial roofing systems with high production rates while maintaining our company's strict quality standards.

Responsibilities

Installation: Perform efficient and high-quality installation of EPDM, TPO, and PVC roofing systems on commercial properties.
Standing Seam: Accurately install standing seam metal roofing systems according to specifications.
Repair: Diagnose and repair leaks and damage on various commercial roofing systems.
Production and Quality: Work independently and with a team to achieve high production goals while upholding superior craftsmanship.
Safety: Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures at all times.
Tools and Equipment: Safely and effectively operate a variety of hand and power tools common to commercial roofing.
Site Management: Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout projects.
Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience as a Commercial Roofer or Technician. Minimum 3 years experience, ideally over 6 years.
Proficiency in installing and repairing EPDM, TPO, PVC, and standing seam systems is required.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work productively with minimal supervision.
High level of integrity, dependability, and reliability.
Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and repairing roof issues.
Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting (50+ lbs), climbing ladders, and navigating roofs.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with supervisors and team members.
A valid driver's license with reliable transportation to our shop in Newark is required.
Must pass a drug test and background check before being hired.
