Your impact

Based inNorth Texas Officesyou'll have the chance to manage exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects and utilize your transportation design expertise in highways to serve as a task lead or Work Authorization Manager on transportation related projects. You'll interpret internal or external business issues and recommend best practices. You'll solve complex problems; take a broad perspective to identify different solutions; guide other in solving complex issues in specialized areas based on existing solutions and procedures. Using your leadership experience, you'll provide technical and supervisory direction to our highway engineering team. You'll work with the best engineers and project managers in the business, as well as work directly with our clients. We want you to be empowered to deliver the boldest solutions for everyday living.

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in Texas
  • Extensive and demonstrable highway design experience
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate all phases of a project
  • Proficiency and prior experience of using MicroStation including OpenRoads

Ideally, here's what you'll also have:

  • TxDOT project experience (other DOT is acceptable)
  • TxDOT pre-certification
  • Experience in roadway and traffic control plan design
  • Experience assembling and reviewing construction drawings and specifications
  • Project management experience or a desire to take on project management duties

Posted Salary Range: Minimum

107,800.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

155,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $107,800.00 to $155,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
