Mechanic - Up To 34/hr

Heavy Equipment Mechanic Location: Commerce City, CO Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Voluntary overtime and Saturdays available (average 48-hour work week) About the Role We are looking for a skilled and safety-focused Heavy Equipment Mechanics to join our dedicated team in Commerce City, CO. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small-shop environment and enjoys working on a wide range of heavy-duty equipment. What You'll Do Participate in daily safety meetings and review work orders with the shop supervisor and lead technician. Perform inspections, preventative maintenance (PMs), and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems. Complete intake forms and repair documentation accurately. Assist with general labor tasks when not assigned to mechanical work. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety protocols and participate in ongoing safety training. What We're Looking For Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with truck, trailer, and heavy diesel equipment maintenance. Tools: Must own a complete set of Class I Mechanic hand tools. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical and hydraulic diagnostics. Familiarity with diesel laptops or similar service reporting tools. Preferred Experience: Working knowledge of drill rigs (Klemm, SoilMec, Watson), concrete pumps/mixers, compressors, generators, forklifts, loaders, and excavators. ASE certification (preferred but not required). Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Why Join Us?
