Sr. Architect for SAP

DUTIES: Manage the process design, configuration and requirement gathering for SAP Retail, as well as integration touch points to other processes and systems. Responsible for hands-on with cross-functional teams tasked with solving business requirements. Estimate, configure and leverage SAP functionality to meet core business process needs. Interface regularly with business stakeholders, development teams, and third parties to ensure that business requirements are met through proper system design and configuration. Core Responsibilities include: Serve as the subject matter expert for SAP ECC processes. Provide process expertise and solutions in Supply Chain, Procurement, OTC, FICO, POSDTA, CAR, UDF, PMR, IM areas and integration with other SAP Modules and non-SAP tools Lead multiple design activities, from requirement analysis to systems, application and process design specifications, implementation, and support. Create documentation for various stages of planning, design, implementation and support of area Liaison with vendor partners to provide best in class solution within the architectural standards Work closely with business to ensure mutual accountability as design results are achieved. Responsible for the design sign off with the business. Champion and drive out of box solutions. Takes the lead and conducts Best Practices workshops to showcase application capabilities to drive business improvement activities. Team up with development resources to provide detail functional specifications and field mapping documents for custom development. Responsible to keep abreast of industry trends and innovations and future SAP development for respective process areas or functional areas. Provide third level production support and identify root causes to issues.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related or foreign equivalent, plus 7 years experience in SAP IS Retail, 7 years experience with SAP POSDM, SAP ECC, SAP CAR, SAP S4 HANA 1709 and S4 HANA 2021, design and implementation of SAP CAR POSDTA, SAP POSDM integrations, system testing, configuration of different types of taxes, Promotions, Bonus Buys, ecommerce systems, EDI, interface master data/retail pricing and promotions; Experience may be gained concurrently.
