Sign and Canopy Painter Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Pay Rate: $20/hour Location: Marietta, GA 30064 Experience: Experience with painting metal signage or automotive painting is required . Position Summary: The Painter will be responsible for painting operations in the facility, including surface prep, priming, and finishing of sign components using spray equipment and other tools. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and enjoys a collaborative shop environment. Painter Job Duties: Perform all painting tasks including sanding, priming, mixing paint, and applying finish coats to various substrates such as aluminum, acrylic, and metal. Use spray equipment (HVLP, airless, or other systems) to achieve professional-grade finishes. Ensure proper surface preparation and masking prior to painting. Maintain a clean and organized paint booth and painting area. Safety: Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE). Painter Skills & Qualifications: Skilled in using spray guns, mixing systems, and surface preparation tools. Familiarity with materials used in sign and canopy production, including aluminum, acrylic, and vinyl. Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new equipment and processes. Ability to follow work orders, blueprints, or shop drawings. Strong attention to detail and quality. Reliable, punctual, and a team player with a positive attitude. Painter Requirements: Must be able to lift 25+ lbs and perform physical work in a production setting. High school diploma or GED required. Able to provide 2 professional references. Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen.
