Job Description:
What You'll be Doing:
Perform carpentry construction, installation, maintenance and repair. Work from written and oral instructions using saws, drills, jointers, planers, routers, hand tools, and all of the shop power tools. Install suspended ceilings, lay out floor tile, install doors and hardware such as locks, handles and closures. Install laminate veneer to furniture and countertops, install and finish drywall. Assist with or fabricate and install solid surface materials. This position is subject to 24 hour call back.

What We're Looking For:
Education and Experience
Qualified Candidates Will Need:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 3+ years of experience in carpentry construction, installation, maintenance and/or repair
Skills Needed:
- Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with supervisors, co-workers and customers
- Must have ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and able to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of the relevant equipment, machines and tools is required to promote security and protection of people, data and property
- Must be able to install equipment to meet appropriate standards
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer skills and a familiarity with word processors and spreadsheets
- Must be able to lift and carry 25 to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 60 lbs. or more occasionally
- Exposed to adverse conditions, including hot and cold temperatures, loud noise, machinery, moving parts, sharp objects, low voltage electricity and steam pipes and tunnels
- Valid driver's license is required
