MIG Welder Job Description Join our team as a MIG Welder where you will primarily work with aluminum, using miller welders to create scales for various applications, including military contracts. This role offers a relaxed environment where perfection is not demanded, though a decent finish is necessary. Expect to perform some grinding on your welds and handle large parts with the aid of hoists and tables. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum, focusing primarily on aluminum. Occasionally perform TIG welding, though prior experience is not mandatory. Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols accurately. Grind welds when necessary to ensure a decent finish. Collaborate with the team to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards. Essential Skills Over 1 year of experience in MIG welding on aluminum. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and weld symbols. Ability to provide a picture or supervisor reference of MIG welds on aluminum. Additional Skills & Qualifications Some experience with TIG welding is beneficial but not required. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Medina, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
