Industrial Assembler Job Description This role focuses on assembling components for commercial water treatment projects, with an emphasis on structural plates for water filtration units. You will work in a clean, light industrial production environment, using hand and power tools, following schematics and blueprints, and contributing to the safe and efficient completion of high-quality water treatment systems. Responsibilities Assemble structural plates and components for commercial water filtration units according to schematics and blueprints. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and alignment of parts. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively during all stages of the assembly process. Perform MIG welding on structural components as needed to meet project specifications. Follow established production processes and timelines to meet daily and weekly output goals. Inspect assembled components for quality, accuracy, and completeness, and make adjustments as required. Maintain a clean and organized work area in the manufacturing facility to support safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to address production issues and improve processes. Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines while operating tools, equipment, and machinery. Essential Skills Experience in mechanical or industrial assembly within a production or light industrial environment. Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately. Proficiency using hand and power tools in a manufacturing or assembly setting. Schooling or at least 1 year of experience in MIG welding, particularly on structural components. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures. Capability to work scheduled shifts and maintain reliable attendance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience assembling water treatment systems or similar industrial equipment. Familiarity with structural plate fabrication or assembly. Comfort working in a production environment with defined output targets. Willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and processes as needed. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing setting. Why Work Here? You will regularly use hand and power tools, follow schematics and blueprints, and work around welding operations and structural assembly equipment. The environment emphasizes safety, organization, and cleanliness, with clear production workflows and an expectation of appropriate industrial work attire suitable for a manufacturing floor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Walker, LA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
