As a small studio, you have the unique opportunity to work on all phases of projects, including design, under a Senior Architect. We focus solely on high-end, single family residential work in New York, including townhouse renovations, new ground-up townhouses, large apartment renovations, and landmark restorations. We are a tight knit group of creative problem solvers with a taste for well-crafted design and work in a collaborative team environment, pushing boundaries until a project is the best it can be. We're looking for someone with strong 3D modeling skills , as well as a great design sensibility ; a sharp critical eye with a focus on detail, and who is comfortable working in a fast-paced studio. Responsibilities include: Assist a Senior Architect or the Principal in generating designs and presentations, construction drawings, code research and compliance, and material selection. Help manage schedules and coordination of clients, contractors, expeditors, consultants, city agencies and vendors. Assist with construction administration. Qualifications: 5+ years professional experience Experience working on all phases of a project a plus High level of proficiency with 3D modeling or BIM software You are resourceful, have the ability to work efficiently on multiple projects and keep them organized Strong conceptual, design and detailing skills NYC residential architecture experience a plus US work authorization required This is a full time salaried position with fully paid individual health insurance benefit, competitive PTO, and summer fridays.
