Construction Manager (Contract) Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft. Summary: This role is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating construction-related activities for a defined project. The Construction Manager will oversee execution from planning through delivery, ensuring alignment across engineering, operations, and business stakeholders. This position requires strong project management expertise, the ability to manage on-site activities, and a focus on delivering results within scope, schedule, and budget. Job Responsibilities: Coordinate project execution by developing detailed plans and ensuring alignment to project goals and timelines Direct and integrate technical and operational construction activities across stakeholders Present project updates, reports, and findings to clients and leadership Oversee workforce coordination, including assigning work and monitoring performance Assess project feasibility by reviewing resource needs, technical requirements, and constraints Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project specifications and execution strategy Review and approve contracts, budgets, and cost estimates Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and operational standards throughout project lifecycle Requirements: Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management or a related field Strong experience managing on-site construction projects Ability to manage schedules, resources, and deliverables across a single large-scale project Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Proven problem-solving ability and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a structured environment Knowledge of construction processes, cost management, and quality control practices Understanding of business and management principles, including planning and resource allocation Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field required PMP or PMI certification preferred Additional Details: Location: San Antonio, TX (On-Site) Duration: 6 months Pay Range*: $90.00 - $100.00 per hour Weekly Schedule: 40 hours Job Status: Non-Exempt Application Deadline: Apply within 72 hours of the posting date to ensure consideration.
