Lead Painter - Residential New Construction

Duties

• Finish projects on time and within budget.
• Maintain painting tools and equipment provided by the company.
• Keep the job site clean and organized every day. Set up in the morning and clean up at the end of the day.
• Sand, caulk, spackle, prime, and mask surfaces before painting.
• Paint using spray, brush, and roller methods with good technique and attention to detail.
• Help co-workers by refilling pumps, moving ladders safely, and teaching new team members.
• Follow company protocols and processes carefully while always looking for the most efficient way to work.
• Communicate with project managers every day about job progress, any problems, and overall status.
• Set clear goals for each day and report back on your progress.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience (new construction painting preferred)
• Bilingual - Spanish/English
• Reliable transportation and Driver's License
• Smart phone with data plan
