Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems, including:
Rooftop units (RTUs)
Chillers and boilers
CRAC units and refrigeration systems
VAV/VVT and control systems
Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
Ensure all work meets safety standards and quality expectations
Work independently with minimal supervision in the field
Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and internal teams
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians as needed
Qualifications
10+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience
Strong expertise in troubleshooting and servicing complex systems
Proficiency with:
RTUs, mini splits, boilers, chillers
Controls and building systems
EPA 608 Universal Certification (required)
NATE Certification (preferred)
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and varying weather conditions
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and kneeling
Work Environment
- Commercial job sites and mechanical rooms
- Exposure to high-voltage systems and moving equipment
- Work in loud environments and extreme temperatures
Additional Details
- Full-time position (40+ hours/week guaranteed)
- Limited overnight travel
- Overtime and weekend work may be required
