Volt is immediately hiring multiple Industrial Painter Assistants in San Diego, CA .

As a Painter Assistant, you will:

• Performs cleaning of parts prior to painting, masking, paint preparation, and after proper training performs industrial epoxy painting on simple parts.
• Cleans, sands, grit blasts, masks, and performs other surface preparations prior to paint application.
• Applies paint to all specified tolerances in all areas.
• Removes masking and cleans parts prior to further manufacturing processing. Sets up and operates necessary equipment following established procedures, specifications, oral and/or written instructions.
• Performs other protective coating processing.
• Maintain material records and order coating materials to sustain established inventory levels.

This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.

Schedule: Monday – Friday

1st shift - 6am – 2:30pm plus overtime during week and weekends.

2nd shift - 2pm – 10:30pm plus overtime during week and weekends.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Painting experience
• English communication skills
• Ability to pass a 7-year criminal background check and drug screen, as well as E-Verify

Pay Rate : $20.00 - $20.75 per hour - depending on shift

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
