The Role:
This role is accountable for supporting the planning and coordination of all construction related projects for Waterworks Showrooms and Boutique Partners (wholesale partners). This role works collaboratively with the Construction and Store Design teams to help ensure that everything, from the bidding process through the end of project is completed on-time and on-budget, while upholding the Waterworks brand and ensuring internal/external client satisfaction.
This role requires a hybrid presence at the Danbury HQ 3 days/week.
Responsibilities:- Provide administrative and operational support to Project Managers across the full project lifecycle
- Support project tracking, workflows, and documentation within the M3 system
- Prepare, maintain, and update project plans, sheets, checklists, schedules, and documentation
- Coordinate project communications to ensure smooth transitions between phases and alignment on cost, schedule, quality, and completion
- Schedule and facilitate monthly facilities calls with showrooms and oversee follow-through on all work orders
- Support the execution of projects for new, relocated, and remodeled showrooms to help ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
- Arrange start-up of essential services, including utilities, disposal, and maintenance
- Order required Waterworks product and coordinate shipment and on-site delivery
- Support Store Design with plan updates, schedules, and project scope definitions using AutoCAD as needed
- Provide purchasing and project documentation to support fixed asset capitalization
- Assist with product assembly in the warehouse and on-site as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- 1-2 years of experience in administrative, project coordination, or project support roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to collaborate effectively, manage details, and follow through on action items
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fastpaced environment
- Familiarity with AutoCAD preferred; willingness and ability to learn if not currently proficient
- Ability and willingness to travel between Corporate office, Warehouse and NY metro showrooms (up to15%)
