Project Manager

An established NYC construction company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in the construction industry and the ability to lead commercial and residential renovation projects from concept through completion.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and supervise construction projects from start to finish.
Manage day-to-day field operations.
Read and interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and woodworking/cabinetry drawings.
Prepare and manage job and labor schedules.
Oversee projects and manage workforce personnel and subcontractors.
Maintain a thorough understanding of project phases and deadlines.
Collaborate with team members to keep projects on track.

REQUIREMENTS:
15+ years of NYC experience in commercial and residential construction
Strong ability to read blueprints and architectural drawings.
Comprehensive understanding of means and methods used in common NYC construction.
Detail-oriented and highly motivated, with the ability to manage time effectively and meet specific deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills are required.
The candidate must be able to support multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team environment.
