Job Title: Project Architect

Job Description

As a Project Architect, you will lead the production of construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD for a diverse range of commercial projects, including retail, hospitality, and large-scale rollout programs. You will manage projects through all phases, from existing condition surveys and conceptual design to schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration. Collaboration with internal teams, consultants, and clients is essential to ensure design intent, project goals, and timelines are met.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and contribute to the development of comprehensive construction drawing sets, ensuring technical accuracy, code compliance, and quality standards.
  • Apply strong knowledge of building systems, materials, and construction methods in the execution of commercial projects.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, reviewing work and supporting team development.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and coordination efforts with consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct site visits, including existing condition surveys and construction administration activities such as field observations, RFIs, and submittal reviews.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in producing construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • 8+ years of architectural experience, with a focus on commercial architecture and retail projects.
  • Experience in schematic design, design development, and construction administration.
  • Strong ability to communicate with clients and engineering trades to move projects along and respond to RFIs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Park Ridge, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
