Qualifications - FOREMAN
High School diploma or GED preferred
English (some Spanish preferred)
Good communication skills
+5 years' experience in construction industry
Structural framing experience would be very helpful
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
Able to climb up and down a ladder
Excellent attention to detail
Able to perform basic math skills
Good customer service skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Able to work independently and/or with a crew
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must have a valid driver's license
Qualifications - SUPERINTENDENT
As the Drywall & Framing Superintendent, you will be the boots-on-the-ground leader responsible for the daily execution of our field operations. You will oversee field crews and subcontractors, manage material staging, enforce strict safety standards, and ensure that layout, framing, hanging, and finishing are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership & Layout: Direct daily field operations, including structural/interior metal stud framing, drywall hanging, and tape/finish (Levels 15). Perform and verify critical layouts from architectural and structural drawings.
Scheduling & Production: Maintain the project schedule. Coordinate daily manpower, look-ahead schedules (2-4 week), and sequence work smoothly with other MEP trades.
Quality Control: Enforce strict QA/QC standards. Ensure framing is plumb, square, and compliant with local building codes, fire-rated assembly UL designs, and acoustical requirements.
Safety Enforcement: Maintain a zero-injury job site. Conduct daily safety huddles, ensure proper PPE compliance, and enforce OSHA regulations specific to scaffolding, lifts, and framing hazards.
Material & Logistics: Coordinate material deliveries and staging to maximize crew production and minimize waste. Track tool and equipment inventory on-site.
Documentation & Communication: Complete daily field logs, track production metrics, manage RFI inputs, and collaborate closely with Project Managers and the General Contractor's superintendent.
