Architectural Designer role focused on space planning, design documentation, model coordination, field surveys, and project deliverables for industrial and high-tech facility projects. Job Requirements Associate degree in Computer Drafting and Design, related coursework, or equivalent on-the-job experience

Experience in industrial building design

Experience with semiconductor, high-tech, or related facility projects

Extensive Revit and AutoCAD modeling and drafting experience

Extensive Navisworks and Bluebeam model review experience

Knowledge of architectural discipline requirements

Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices

Experience preparing models, plans, elevations, sections, schedules, details, and construction documents

Experience coordinating design deliverables across multiple disciplines

Experience performing field surveys of existing conditions

Experience reviewing and processing submittal documents

Ability to perform as an area or system lead designer

Ability to delegate work to junior staff under the direction of a supervisor or project architect

Preferred Skills Experience using Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and other modeling or drafting programs

Experience supporting all project phases, including proposals, meetings, design documentation, and construction documents

Experience identifying scope creep and escalating scope, schedule, or budget concerns

Experience breaking projects into tasks, assigning hours, and preparing labor estimates

Experience reviewing specifications and providing specification input

Experience resolving design conflicts between disciplines and existing field conditions

Experience identifying technical design options and presenting findings to design teams or customers

Experience enforcing project and client standards and procedures

Job Responsibilities Plan and conduct layout and design work for spaces, rooms, and building systems

Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions

Prepare project deliverables for all phases of design

Develop models, plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and details

Support architectural and design leads with materials for meetings, proposals, and construction documents

Attend design status updates for assigned areas of responsibility

Review and follow project specifications during design development and delivery

Provide specification input and comments when needed

Coordinate designs and deliverables across architectural and engineering disciplines

Resolve design conflicts between disciplines and existing field conditions

Perform field surveys of existing conditions

Respond to design requests, coordination requests, conflict resolution requests, and information-sharing requests

Provide labor estimates for assigned tasks

Review and process submittal documents

Identify incomplete work or gaps in assigned work and team deliverables before review

Apply and enforce project standards, client standards, and required procedures

Support junior staff through assigned task delegation and design coordination
