PLUMBER/STEAMFITTER, Facilities Management & Planning, Mechanical Operations

Perform all allowable tasks per the Massachusetts Journeyman Pipe Fitters License, as a member of the Facilities Management & Planning Plumbing shop. Perform maintenance and service work on pumps, air handlers, steam condensate systems, boilers, traps, and cooling towers. Install new and modify existing HVAC systems. Respond to emergency situations to protect life and property.

Required Skills

• Must have a valid Massachusetts Journeyman plumber license with 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial facilities maintenance.
• Experience working with Pro Press and Mega Press.
• Ability to work from ladders and lift heavy items up to 50 lbs.
• Must have own set of hand tools.
• Ability to speak, read, understand and write fluently in the English language.
• Must have and maintain valid Massachusetts drivers license and daily use of an automobile.
• Knowledge of basic safety procedures.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Master Plumbers License.
• Five years of experience working on renovation projects.
