SMMA has an opportunity for a Senior HVAC Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of experience. This position offers the ability to lead a range of multiple design project types, and requires a good balance of leadership, technical, communication, and organizational skills.
Our Engineering team is a part of an integrated, multidisciplinary design firm with a dynamic mix of architects and engineers. Key Responsibilities:
Provide multiple projects leadership from concept design through construction administration phases in a range of project types.
Demonstrate experience with a range of system types and an interest in continuing to learn.
Guide and mentor junior team members through project design phases.
Represent the firm in client meetings and marketing pursuits.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in HVAC systems design and leading design projects
PE is required
Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, Load Calculation Programs, MS Office
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
