Electrician Job Description As an Electrician, you will be responsible for roughing in conduit and wiring new commercial buildings based on plans and prints provided by the General Contractor. Your work will involve terminating wires at switches, circuit breaker panels, and relays. You will wire instruments controlling power, lighting, and heating units, as well as provide wiring for air conditioning and refrigeration units. Power tools, test meters, pipe threaders, and conduit benders will be utilized in your daily tasks. Responsibilities Rough in conduit and wiring for new commercial buildings. Terminate wires at switches, circuit breaker panels, and relays. Wire instruments that control power, lighting, and heating units. Provide wiring for air conditioning and refrigeration units. Utilize power tools, test meters, pipe threaders, and conduit benders. Essential Skills 5+ years of commercial experience in bending conduit or pipe and running wire. Safety oriented with OSHA certification. Proficient in using saws, drills, utility knives, ohmmeters, and other testing tools. Experience in pulling wire, wiring, bending conduit, and construction. Knowledgeable in handling 480V. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with 227V. Experience with rigid conduit and outlet wiring. Proficiency in pipe bending. Why Work Here?
