General Laborer Job Description We are seeking a skilled General Laborer to join a dynamic project in Aurora. This project entails decommissioning an old racking system and installing a new one over a period of at least three months. The successful candidate will be involved in disassembling the current system using hand tools and wrenches, unloading new materials, staging equipment, and drilling into concrete to set up new racking. Responsibilities Decommission old racking systems using hand tools and wrenches. Work comfortably at heights, up to 4-5 stories high. Unload new materials and stage equipment efficiently. Drill into concrete to set up the new racking system. Essential Skills At least 1 year of construction or mechanical assembly experience. Strong mechanical inclination. Ability to lift 50-75 pounds repeatedly. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with general labor tasks such as cleaning and production. Familiarity with using tape measures in construction settings. Work Environment The role requires working Monday through Friday, from 7am to 5pm, with 8-10 hour days and occasional Saturdays. Candidates should be comfortable with 50-55 hour work weeks. The work environment involves physical labor and working at heights, adhering to safety protocols. Why Work Here?
