while managing design teams on single and multi-discipline projects. For
the right candidate, this position also provides the potential to
develop into a Practice Team Leader in the Madison office.
Responsibilities include: Project engineering and management including
project oversight, setting priorities, and developing objectives,
project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the
design process. Serving as a technical resource for site civil team
members. Mentorship of less experienced staff members. Business
development activities including proposal preparation, project
interviews/presentations, and client management. Professional society
involvement. In order to be considered for this position, candidates
must possess the following minimum qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in
civil engineering. Master\'s degree with an emphasis on hydraulics,
hydrology or a related field of study is a plus. Minimum of 8 years of
experience of design experience in site development, grading, drainage,
storm water management, and permitting in Wisconsin. Candidates with
additional experience are encouraged to apply. Abilities to mentor staff
and successfully lead a project team is a plus. Ability to work
collaboratively with a multi-discipline and architect-led team on large
siteprojects. Professional Engineer (PE) License in Wisconsin. PE
licenses in other Midwest states is a plus. Good communication skills
and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and
