Concrete Construction Project Manager

Job Description: Bayside Concrete Inc. , a prominent commercial and industrial concrete contractor in Southeast Virginia and Northeast North Carolina, is seeking a Concrete Construction Project Manager. This position offers the opportunity to manage large-scale, multi-million-dollar concrete construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in industrial and commercial concrete foundations, structural form systems, engineering principles, and will be responsible for ensuring project success from initiation to completion. This position involves overseeing the budget, schedules, and team, working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with ample room for career growth. 2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead and manage multi-million dollar commercial and industrial concrete construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget. Budget Oversight: Monitor, review, and manage project budgets, making necessary adjustments to ensure that the project stays within financial constraints. Team Coordination: Supervise project teams, including foremen, and laborers, ensuring that all personnel follow safety guidelines and project specifications. Blueprint and Drawing Interpretation: Review and analyze blueprints, structural rebar drawings, and other project plans to ensure that all work complies with design specifications and industry standards. Quality Control: Ensure high-quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle, with a focus on concrete slab installation, cast-in-place structures, and elevated decks. Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or issues that arise. Scheduling: Create and manage project schedules, ensuring that all project milestones are met and that deadlines are adhered to. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all work is performed according to safety protocols and industry regulations, promoting a safe work environment for all personnel. 3. Qualifications: Industry Expertise: Extensive experience in managing large industrial and commercial concrete projects, particularly involving slabs, cast-in-place structures, and elevated decks. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in the use of structural form systems and engineering principles; strong understanding of blueprints, rebar drawings, and construction documents. Software Skills: Familiarity with Sage Construction software (formerly Timberline) is preferred but not required. Leadership Ability: Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and project stakeholders. 4. Education/Experience: Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete construction management, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects, particularly foundations and elevated concrete decks. Education: A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Certifications: Any relevant certifications, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or OSHA safety certifications, are a plus. Sage Software Experience: Previous experience with Sage Construction software (formerly Timberline) is highly preferred. 5.
