2nd Shift Saw Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator for the 2nd shift, with working hours from 3pm to 11:30am, Monday through Friday. Training may occur on a flexible shift, likely starting from 11am to 7:30pm. The Saw Operator will oversee the entire process of completing work orders, including interpreting customer color codes, setting up saws, reading tape measures, and operating saw equipment. Additional responsibilities include pulling parts from the warehouse and placing finished parts back into the warehouse. This is a trainable position for anyone coming from a fabrication shop setting. Responsibilities Interpret customer color codes and set up saws accordingly. Read tape measures and operate saw equipment efficiently. Pull necessary parts from the warehouse. Place finished parts back into the warehouse. Proficiency in interpreting tape measures and measuring instruments down to 1/16". Experience working in a machine shop or steel environment. Mechanical inclination and understanding of machine operations. Familiarity with SAP/computer skills and CNC operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to read precise tape measures. Manufacturing experience. Preferred experience in warehouse settings. Skill in operating lift equipment such as forklifts and cranes. Why Work Here?
