Concrete Laborer Job Description We are seeking dedicated laborers to join our team in a position that requires intensive physical effort. As a laborer, you will be engaged in various tasks including tying rebar, lifting, bending, and working in physically demanding positions. Responsibilities Tie rebar and perform other tasks related to pre-cast concrete operations. Engage in heavy physical work, including bending, lifting, and being on hands and knees frequently. Work collaboratively on an assembly line setting up walls, tying rebar, and pouring concrete as needed. Meet structured production times independently while working with a team. Essential Skills Experience in construction, concrete work, or assembly manufacturing. Proficiency in operating hand tools and power tools. Ability to stand for up to 12 hours and perform physically demanding tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience as a machine operator, assembler, or carpenter. Capability to work in a temperature-controlled environment with varying conditions. Why Work Here? Work Environment The working environment is temperature controlled, ensuring comfort during cold winters and mild summers. Laborers will work on an assembly line, collaborating with a team while maintaining the ability to meet individual production goals. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, including wearing a hard hat, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses. Candidates are expected to have or acquire necessary tools such as a speed square, hammer, utility knife, adjustable wrench, tie wire pliers, and side cutters within two days of starting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, Pennsylvania. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
