If so, read on! We are looking to add a project engineer to our team! Job Description: The Project Engineer is responsible for document control on a project level. They maintain and process project information in accordance with WD&C procedures and our contractual obligations established in each project's construction documents. As WD&C is still a small and growing company there may be occurrences where a Project Manager (PM) is not associated with a project that the PE is serving on, in such a case the PE will also be responsible for some of the PM's roles and responsibilities with assistance from WD&C leads. Duties & Responsibilities: Assist the PM and Superintendent as needed. Develops full understanding of the scope and interdependence of each project's contract documents. Develop the submittal registry, request submittals from suppliers and subcontractors, review for accuracy, and process submittals. Update the submittal registry while tracking submittals. Assist as well as write, submit, and distribute RFIs. Review and distribute Instruction Bulletins (ASIs/RFPs) Post changes to documents digitally, including RFIs, ASIs, RFPs, and as-built conditions. Manage project closeout, including requesting and submitting warranties, O&Ms, extra material, etc. Assist PMs and Superintendents with Take-Offs and quote requests. Assist in setting up meetings, attending meetings, and taking and save notes in project files. Document job site progress with daily photos. Attend Job Walks and Assist Front Office with Bid Running Maintain Project Documentation, correspondence, and Project Files. Maintain Digital As-Built Drawings and Specifications Oversee and Mentor Interns. Qualifications: Construction Management degree or field-related degrees such as engineering and or 2 to 4 years of experience in the construction field.
