PDS TECH Commercial is currently looking for a Fabricator for our Aerospace client in Salt Lake City, UT

Shifts: 1st or 2nd shift must be available for both

100% onsite

Possible OT opportunities

Duration: 12 months, possible extension

Requires HS DiplomaGED

PAY RATE $25 - $30Hour

Requires US Person under ITAR regulations

Duties:

Regular and predictable attendance is required

Performs machine set-up, machining, welding set-up, welding, sheet metal fabrication and extrusion, tube bending and fabrication tasks.

Performsposite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks.

Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanicalponents.

Assembles, repairs, modifies, and installs various power plants and drive trains.

Perform soldering on electronic and avionics products.

Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products.

Prepares test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices to perform various tests.

Performs basicanic chemical conversion and paint preparation.

Applies routineanic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements.

Works on articles of moderateplexity using established drawings and requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

Performs metalsComposite assembly tasks, including drilling, fastening, sealing, and electrical bonding

Assembles mechanical and electro-mechanicalponents

Performs basicanic chemical conversion and paint preparation

Applies routineanic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements

Performs machine set-up, machining, and metal fabrication tasks

Works on articles of limitedplexity following established drawings and requirements

Required Skills:

6+ months of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience

Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling and lifting

Preferred Skills:

1+ years of related work experience or an equivalentbination of education and experience

Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools)

Experience managing or working with safety, quality, and manufacturing performance data

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
