TIG Welder - Days/Nights**
**Job Description**
Join a dynamic sheet metal shop specializing in diverse job shop work, ranging from metal cabinets to carpet cleaning trucks and water tanks. We seek skilled TIG welders capable of passing a basic 2G weld test on stainless steel, with proficiency in welding 18 gauge - 20 gauge, equivalent to 1/32 of an inch. This role demands expertise in TIG welding, setting up welding machines, and blueprint reading.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, specifically 18 gauge - 20 gauge.
+ Set up and operate welding machines efficiently.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including wearing PPE such as welding hood, gloves, leathers, earplugs, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in TIG welding, including experience with 12 gauge - 24 gauge.
+ Ability to pass a TIG test (box test).
+ Capability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Experience in aluminum welding and fabrication.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Possession of personal welding gear, including hood, shield, and steel-toed shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Salt Lake, Utah.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
