At Advanced Window, we specialize inmercial window solutions, providing expert sales, consultation, design, and installation of pre-glazed fenestration, curtain wall, storefront, and metal panel products. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and innovative solutions tomercial projects across the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia areas.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Estimator to join our team and play a critical role in developingpetitive bids and winning proposals. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with senior leadership-including the President and Director of Estimating-to help shape project strategies and ensure timely, accurate cost estimates.

As an Estimator, you will support the preparation of bids by gathering pricing data, reviewing architectural documents, and coordinating with suppliers and vendors. You'll contribute to ourpany's growth and profitability by helping us win work through detailed, strategic, and well-supported proposals.

Key Responsibilities

Provide daily support to the President and Director of Estimating

Review bid documents, addenda, and assist with post-bid submissions

Coordinate andpile submittal packages for awarded projects

Gather and analyze pricing from suppliers and manufacturers

Conduct architectural take-offs and assist in value engineering efforts

Ensurepliance with project specs and building code requirements

Communicate with general contractors and architects regarding RFIs

Support projects from budget through substantialpletion

Maintain focus on meeting tight project deadlines

What We're Looking For

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Proactive thinker with excellent multitasking abilities

Strongmunication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word preferred)

Background in construction estimating or architectural drawings is a plus

Experience with windows is a bonus, but not required
