Estimator

Our client in the architectural millwork industry is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join their growing team. About the Role: As the Estimator, you'll play a key role in developing accurate, competitive bids for complex commercial projects-directly impacting the company's revenue pipeline and margin targets. You'll work closely with leadership, operations, and finance teams to ensure all submissions align with the company's capacity and profitability goals. Key Responsibilities: Interpret architectural drawings, specs, and scope documents to produce precise cost estimates. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with production schedules and project timelines. Ensure all bids adhere to safety, legal, and internal compliance standards. Support effective project handoffs by clearly communicating awarded job details to internal teams. Monitor and report on KPIs including bid win rate, gross margin, and project variance. Qualification and Experience: A degree in construction, engineering, architecture, or equivalent practical experience. Strong ability to read blueprints and technical documents. Proven experience estimating for commercial projects-preferably in architectural millwork. Proficiency with estimating software (Innergy preferred), AutoCAD, and Excel. Solid understanding of industry standards (AWI knowledge is a plus). Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
