This full time, permanent 1st Shift Design Engineer - Structural & Architectural Steel opportunity is at a stable, casual manufacturer located in a newly built, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Creating 3D models and production drawings for custom, large-scale motorized door systems designed for industrial environments
Work on custom-designed projects tailored to meet specific client needs, requiring expertise in structural, mechanical, and electrical systems
Produce detailed technical documentation for fabrication and installation processes
Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure accuracy and quality in the design and production of motorized door systems
Candidates must have a minimum background consisting of:
An Associate's degree with an emphasis on architectural and structural steel design
2 or more years of experience in design
Proficiency in AutoCAD or other similar 2D CAD drafting software is required
Experience in 3D modeling using tools like SolidWorks or Tekla
Understanding of electrical schematics is preferred, but not mandatory. Possess a solid work history
Being a US citizen or green card holder
Having a residence within a 45-minute drive
