What you’ll do as a Surveyor

  • Conduct field surveys for new and existing telecom infrastructure projects (fiber, small cell, tower, etc.)
  • Interpret construction drawings and plans to determine precise locations and measurements
  • Use GPS, total stations, levels, and other survey equipment to capture and record data
  • Stake out reference points and markers to guide construction crews
  • Identify property boundaries, easements, and right-of-way limitations
  • Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and project managers to relay survey results and resolve conflicts
  • Prepare accurate survey notes, maps, and detailed reports
  • Ensure all work complies with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

What you’ll need

  • To be 18 years of age or older
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company
  • Experience in construction or land surveying, preferably in telecom or utility sectors
  • Proficiency with survey equipment (e.g., GPS systems, total station, digital levels)
  • Familiarity with GIS, CAD, or other drafting software is a plus
  • Strong understanding of field safety standards and OSHA regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, utility maps, and legal documents
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Salary Range $23 - $35 per hour
