GRADER/ BLADE OPERATOR Civil Construction Co.

Established family owned civil construction company seeking a skilled and dedicated Motor Grader / Blade Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various heavy machinery on construction sites. As an operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of grading tasks, contributing to the successful completion of our projects.
Responsibilities:
Operate grading equipment, including to prepare construction sites.
Perform precise grading and leveling of soil and other materials to meet project specifications.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
Safely operate water trucks and tankers for dust control and material transport.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on construction sites.
Skills:
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Experience in operating heavy machinery such as graders gannons, backhoes, loaders, and water trucks.
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices.
Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
Attention to detail to ensure quality work in grading tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
