We're actively seeking a Civil Engineer who thrives on designing and delivering infrastructure that supports vital energy operations. If you enjoy planning complex projects, working cross-functionally, and seeing your designs come to life in the field-this is the role for you.
You'll be responsible for engineering oil and gas well pads and supporting infrastructure such as roads, bridges, and water systems. From concept to construction, you'll bring technical skill and project management savvy to every phase of the work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design civil engineering projects in compliance with all local, state, and federal standards
- Create and review drawings, technical specs, and construction plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools
- Conduct site investigations and analyze geotechnical, survey, and environmental data
- Generate engineering calculations, cost estimates, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with drilling, completions, production, and water transfer teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Support construction oversight to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
- Monitor environmental and sustainability factors throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide timely approvals and resolve technical challenges as they arise
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's a plus)
- PE license or EIT certification (or working toward it)
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and engineering analysis tools (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD Pro)
- Understanding of construction methods, legal standards, and materials
- Strong communication and analytical skills; capable of managing multiple priorities
Preferred Experience:
- Prior work on oil and gas well pad or similar infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with local/state/federal regulations and permitting
- Experience with GIS, BIM, or project management software like Primavera or MS Project
