A Successful Automation Machine Operator Candidate:

Responsibilities:
- Talented operator to run the automated production lines to include robotics, HMI screens, conveyors and automated punching/forming equipment.
- Operating and maintaining automated machinery on the production floor
- Oversee the setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of automated sheet metal processing equipment & systems including Prima Power Shear Brilliance punch and Express Bender
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues and troubleshoot/correct system material flow issues
- Set up and verify functionality of safety equipment
- Ensure efficient workflow of the machine
- Understand and integrate equipment parameters
- Identify production quality issues and take appropriate corrective action as needed and implement preventative measures
- Achieve required efficiency and output on automated lines
- Collaborate with the engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize automation processes
- Involved in preventative maintenance including basic mechanical, electrical and computer systems and data analysis, and escalate when appropriate
- Other tasks as defined by the manager
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm (schedule may vary depending upon deadlines)
Experience & Qualifications:
- Years’ Experience: 2-3 years’ relevant experience in production and automation preferred
- Experience with automated sheet metal processing equipment preferred but not required
- Associates Degree (Recommended, but not required)
- Automation Certifications – CAP, CCST or ISA (Recommended)
- Software Experience Necessary: Microsoft Office Suite Applications
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage shifting priorities
- High attention to detail
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
