- Perform mechanical engineering and consulting services.
- Collaborate with the team to create reliable and secure system solutions for generating stations and ancillary equipment.
- Design and draft mechanical systems using AutoCAD and other CAD software.
- Size and select fluid system components based on engineering principles and customer specifications.
- Design and lay out site-level arrangement drawings and site grading and foundation interface definition drawings.
- Evaluate vendor and customer drawings.
- Ensure compliance with applicable ANSI, API, AWS, and ASCE standards.
- Create and update mechanical and structural drawings utilizing AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with documentation and configuration control systems, including engineering change management.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical drafting and design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and CAD software.
- Bachelors degree in mechanical or civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Experience with piping/mechanical systems for Gas Turbines.
- Knowledge of plant operation and safety interlocks.
- Understanding of power plant applicable standards.
- Minimum of 7 years related experience.
- Experience with fluid system design including pumps, motors, valves, and instrumentation.
- Experience with SAP Enterprise management software.
- Familiarity with export control regulations.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Team building, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Experience with Gas Turbines, power stations, or manufacturing facilities.
This position is based in a mid-rise corporate building located in Glastonbury, within a manufacturing area, and conveniently close to high-end shopping and dining. The dress code is business casual. There is potential for a hybrid onsite/remote work model. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/yr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
