Randall Creek Sweeping serves the road paving and construction industries.
We are seeking qualified drivers to operate our mechanical broom sweepers on a temporary, full-time or as-available basis through October.
Our sweepers do not require a CDL to operate and are classed as a CMV (Commercial Motor Vehicle).
This is largely in-cab operations - Manual work outside of the sweeper is limited. However, you must be able to safely climb in and out of the cab, inspect and climb on the machines and lift up to 25 lbs, so a reasonable level of physical fitness is required.
Operators are required to support equipment between jobs.
Details:
1. Our company is a drug-free company.
2. Must have a valid drivers license and clean DVM record.
3. Must pass a company-paid medical exam for DOT compliance.
4. Must perform daily vehicle inspections for safety items, wear, damage and other factors that might affect equipment performance.
5. Must operate safely on the road and inside traffic-controlled road construction sites.
6. Must be customer-focused: prompt to job sites, operate safely, follow directions, be a good listener, ask questions and communicate well.
7. Background check required.
Education and Experience:
1. High School diploma or GED desirable.
2. 1+ years experience preferred driving construction equipment, farm equipment or medium-duty trucks.
3. Familiarity with machine mechanics and hydraulics a plus.
