SUMMARY

The Scheduler supports engineering program management at Karman Space & Defense by creating and maintaining program schedules. Reports to the IPT Lead.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Supports implementation and maintenance of program schedules, primarily using Microsoft Project
• Works in conjunction with Program Managers and IPT Leads to ensure program schedules are complete and up to date
• Integrates customer schedules, generates internal schedules with provided inputs, and provides detailed schedules to internal and external customers upon request.
• Continuous review of schedule logic to ensure off line detailed plans are properly reflected in the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) status
• Conducting schedule deep dives for internal team coordination and impact assessment for all changes requiring IMS adjustments
• Assist Program Manager to develop and maintain status reports to keep Stakeholders informed on project progress
• Run critical path status reports
• Identify resource conflicts and work with Program Manager to perform resource leveling
• Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules
• Works with Engineering, Planning, and Manufacturing for full visibility of project milestones as delegated by the Program Manager
• Interfaces with customer project team to ensure schedules are aligned

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Required Education: High School diploma
• Preferred Education: AA Degree or higher
• Required Experience: 2 years of professional experience with advanced-level MS Project
• Familiarity with building and maintaining an IMS in accordance with DI-MGMT-81650
• Demonstrated strong work ethic, excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient in Microsoft Project
• Must be a U.S. Citizen, and hold OR be able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance
