We are currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Terminal Project Manager located in Richmond, VA .

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related Field

Preferred Certifications/Licenses:

  • Professional Certification or License, PE, PMP, GC, AIA etc.

Required Qualifications:
In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Project Management, or Management of Airport Terminals
  • Minimum 5 years of leading teams of at least 10 professionals
  • Previous experience managing Airport Terminal Projects
  • Experience leading infrastructure projects in a live operational environment
  • Experience of managing multiple, interfacing, concurrent projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Experience leading infrastructure projects in a live operational environment
  • Ability to meet complex, potentially conflicting stakeholder requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of contract administration and negotiations
  • Knowledge and understanding of airport environment necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active worksite terminal experience preferably on Large Aviation Terminals
  • Master's degree in business administration, Construction, Management, Planning, Design

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the project team in the design, procurement, construction, delivery, and handover of the project to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of a culture of world class health, safety, and environmental standards across the project and its associated contractors to deliver the highest levels of health, safety and environmental performance achievable.
  • Lead the identification and mitigation of risks that may adversely impact project delivery or adversely affect airport operations through the project/program lifecycle.
  • Deliver the assigned project(s) to defined cost, schedule, and quality requirements, leading to the successful handover of assigned projects to the operations and/or Commercial Departments including ensuring all requisite Airport Operational Readiness planning and activities are in place.
  • Familiarity with FAA, TSA and CBP regulations at U.S. Airports
  • Lead the development of the project team; set standards, manage, motivate, coach and mentor staff within the team.
  • Recognize talent and assist in the development of those with high potential.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and statutory obligations applicable to this role, including all standards and code compliance, and required planning permissions.
  • Manage and positively influence key stakeholders (both internal & external) associated with the individual project(s).
  • Lead the Lessons/Data driven process across all projects and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

Salary:

  • $130, 000 - $170,000/yr.

Bonus Pay:

A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at management's discretion.
