We are seeking a Roofing Laborer for a Temp position with our client, a reputable roofing company located in Springfield, Oregon.
The Roofing Laborer plays an essential role in the hands on demolition/tear off of old roofing materials. The ideal candidate will maintain an organized and safe environment while actively contributing to the deconstruction of old roofing materials.
This is a great opportunity to help a residential customer have a brand new roof, located in Springfield, Oregon.
As a Roofing Laborer, you will be responsible for:
Roof tear off at apartment complex - tearing off existing shingles and roofing materials
Carry bundles of old roofing across scaffolding and toss down into the bed of a pickup, dump trailer, or dumpster
Cleanup (moving equipment, sweeping up with broom, picking up debris by hand)
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Must be comfortable working on a roof and scaffolding
Must wear fall-protection safety harness and/or work within guard railing perimeter at all times
