Industrial Electrician Job Description Aerotek is hiring now for an Industrial Electrician for a new manufacturing facility in Baldwin, FL. Join our dynamic team as an Industrial Electrician, where you will play a pivotal role in the fabrication and assembly of modular control buildings. You will be responsible for the assembly of mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring high standards of quality and precision. Responsibilities Job title: Industrial Electrician Location: Jacksonville, FL (westside - Baldwin) Pay: $25-$35/hr (based on interview/experience) Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm (M-F) Manufacturing facility (non-climate controlled) Layout mechanical equipment within modular buildings to ensure optimal configuration. Assemble mechanical equipment according to WM standards and engineered drawings. Install and mount electrical and mechanical components neatly and professionally. Visually locate components and determine proper clearances. Label and document component identification and location accurately. Prepare assembled equipment for system testing procedures. Maintain a clean and organized production area daily. Review bill of materials to assess equipment readiness for project assembly. Utilize industrial tools such as welders, grinders, band saws, shear, punches, bender, overhead crane, and forklifts. Adhere to all safety requirements and properly use personal protective equipment. Collaborate with Manufacturing and Operations Managers to understand system assembly requirements and project timelines. Qualifications: Proficiency in reading electrical wiring diagrams and schematics. Ability to assemble, install, and mount electrical components and wire harnesses professionally. Familiarity with blueprint reading and electrical assembly. Skill in troubleshooting and problem-solving using wiring schematics and electrical testing tools.
