Overview

We are seeking a P6 Scheduler for assignment in Manassas, Virginia, Massachusetts. The selected candidate will perform planning, scheduling and validation on EPCMV life-cycle projects.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

** Candidates must have Primavera P6 experience in order to be considered **

** A PMI Scheduling Professional Certification (PMI-SP) is highly preferred **

Responsibilities

- Act as Liaison between the project team members and the client team scheduler/ scheduling system to ensure information is conveyed and assembled accurately as per the Tool Install schedule

- Support scheduling conflict resolution internally and externally; Exercising diligence when escalation is required

- Manage Scheduling daily activities of the project team, ensuring they are meeting their performance and productivity models

- Perform time impact analyses (TIA) to determine the extent of the impacts of potential delays; Provide recommendations for schedule recovery; Recovery schedule reviews and perform what-if scenario analysis; Assess and provide recommendations to resolve schedule, scope changes or delays to the Project Team and Executive Management

- Establish baseline schedule, i.e. summary and detailed review of baseline durations, logic, resources, costs, cost curves, resource histograms, etc.

- Run schedule workshops; Identify schedule activities that control the overall project and critical path; Guide the Kanban team(s) and organization to follow generally accepted Agile/Scrum practices and daily activities to actively promote prioritization, team readiness and workflow across engineering teams

- Understand LEAN philosophy and guide its effective implementation in the design / construction industry

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Industrial Engineering is preferred (An Associates Degree with 4 years of semiconductor experience will work in lieu)

- 8+ years' scheduling experience on large complex Industrial projects

- Proficient in Primavera P6

- Knowledge of Excel, VBA, Power BI and Access for reporting and analysis

- A PMI Scheduling Professional Certification (PMI-SP) is highly preferred

- 4+ years' scheduling experience on Tool Install projects is highly preferred
