We are seeking skilled carpenters various commercial projects within a 60-mile radius of Waterloo. Our team focuses on projects ranging from $1 million to $15 million, including remodels and new buildings at UNI. This position involves performing all aspects of construction, including demolition, earthwork, excavations, concrete placement and finishing, framework erection, ceiling and wall installation, welding, signaling operators, and other construction-related tasks. We value specialized skills and will strive to keep you engaged in your preferred area of construction, although flexibility in job tasks is required. Responsibilities Perform demolition work and earthwork excavations. Place and finish concrete for various construction projects. Prepare layouts and erect framework for structures. Install ceilings and walls according to project specifications. Conduct welding tasks and signal operators as needed. Engage in other construction-related tasks as directed. Essential Skills 1+ year of construction experience. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Proficiency in working in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Why Work Here? Work Environment Our commercial construction environment involves working in teams of 3-10 people on job sites. Expect to work regular hours from 7am to 4pm, Monday through Friday.
