Inside the Role
This position is responsible for testing existing products with established test procedures and interpret test results. Must have the ability to attach and transmission to Dynometer test stand, adding oil, coolant and fuel, starting and running at various RPM's and power ratings, responsible for diagnosing and correcting discrepancies involve in this process

This position offers:
Starting pay of $20.00/hr. up to top pay of $28.22/hr.*
Quarterly gainsharing bonus potential
*additional shift differential for off-shifts

What You Drive at DTNA
Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including: repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures
Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput
Operate torque wrenches, air tools, presses, gauges, hoist, press, hand tools, computers, PIV..
Attach transmission to dynamiter test stand
Add oil, coolant and fuel
Start and run at various RPMs and power ratings
Operate wrenches, air tools, and gauges to connect transmission to Dyno unit
Load/unload transmission into and out of Dyno unit
Obtain and maintain forklift license
Ability to identify gauge readings
Assist with heavy repairs and complex trouble shooting
Use of pallet jack & hoist
Properly identify component parts by learning identification numbers
Adhere to established work rotation plan
Complete training matrix for each rotation position
Ability to read and understand Work Station Instructions
Other tasks and/or duties as requested
Use computer systems to access company data associated with the assembly process, utilize drawings, bills of materials and specification sheets in both electronic and hard copy
Knowledge You Should Bring
Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools
Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds. (with assistance from a team member or use of hoist)
Must maintain a clean work area.
Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures
Cross train on other jobs as required
Ability to operate riveting, torqueing, hand tools and small power tools in a safe and nondestructive manner.
Read and understand Work Station Instruction documentation
Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently
Ability to work overtime when necessary
Established satisfactory attendance record and performance rating
Perform other duties as assigned
