About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Welder/Fabricator to support production operations for a metal fabricationpany located in Hilliard, OH. This is a hands-on role suited for a fabricator with 10+ years of MIG welding experience working with aluminum and steel. You'll be responsible for producing strong, clean, and visually appealingponents used in a variety of signage and architectural products.
Operating within a d facility for two growing brands, this role requires reliability, a focus on fit and finish, and amitment to building parts the right way the first time.
Key Responsibilities
Welding and Fabrication
Perform MIG welding on aluminum and steelponents, including sheet, tube, extrusion, and angle materials.
Fit, weld, and assemble parts from shop drawings and job travelers.
Operate fabrication tools and equipment such as shears, brakes, saws, and grinders.
Finish and Appearance
Grind, sand, and clean welded parts to meet high appearance standards.
Deliverpleted parts with smooth seams, clean joints, and minimal need for rework or downstream finishing.
Workflow and Communication
Coordinate with team leads and planners to ensure products meet requirements and production timelines.
Communicate issues clearly, including material concerns or fabrication challenges.
Maintain a clean andanized work area; assist with general shop support as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
10+ years of MIG welding experience with aluminum and steel.
Experience working with extrusion, tubing, angle, and sheet metal materials.
Ability to read and fabricate from shop drawings and job travelers.
Competent with basic measuring tools (e.g., tape measure, square).
Capable of lifting 50 lbs and performing physical work throughout the shift.
Preferred:
AWS or equivalent welding certifications.
Background in signage or architectural product fabrication.
Shift: M-F 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay Rate: $25-30 (dependent on exp)
Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
