Welder/Fabricator Job Description Join our team as a Welder/Fabricator, where you will be responsible for MIG welding and fabricating parts for heavy-duty trucks and tractors. You will utilize plasma cutters and drills to ensure high-quality standards in heavy gauge MIG welding on joints and components. This role involves working with hand drawings and using fab machines to cut materials to the required lengths. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding and fabrication for heavy-duty truck and tractor parts. Utilize plasma cutters and drills in welding processes. Ensure joints and components meet quality standards through heavy gauge MIG welding. Work with hand drawings; blueprint experience is not necessary. Operate fab machines to cut materials to specified lengths. Essential Skills Proficiency in welding, fabrication, and installation of trailers. 2+ years of experience in heavy steel welding. Expertise in heavy gauge steel MIG welding with all wire feed. Experience with plasma and acetylene torches. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of hydraulics is a plus. Exposure to custom truck components. Proficiency with common tools. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
