Our client, a leading organization in the engineering and maintenance sector, is seeking a Building Operations Center Operator to join their team. As a Building Operations Center Operator, you will be part of the Engineering/Maintenance department supporting critical building operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to maintenance, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Building Operations Center Operator

Location: Redmond, WA

Shift: Night shift 6pm-6am - 14 day cycle- starting on a Monday, work Monday Tuesday be off Wednesday, Thursday, work Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Then the next week it would reverse. 12 hour shift, with a half hour of expected over time.

Remote/Hybrid/In-person:
First 45 days are onsite and then it will be a remote role

Pay Rate: $28/hr. - $35/hr.

What's the Job?

  • Monitor, maintain, and repair building system operations including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Respond to alarms and troubleshoot a wide variety of industrial instrumentation and mechanical equipment.
  • Command and control complex HVAC, lighting, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Support and train Mechanical Technicians on control system operation and system repairs.
  • Perform proper escalation and management of casualty events to maintain critical environments.

What's Needed?

  • 4-5 years of job-related experience in building engineering or a similar field.
  • High School Diploma or GED; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Strong mechanical understanding of equipment such as chillers, cooling towers, and air handling units.
  • Ability to interpret complex system reports and analyze for optimum performance.
  • Experience with Microsoft OS and Office environments.
